About Bernard
During the period 1973 to 1983 Bernard worked as a craftsman firstly in tapestry and later as an enameller, producing work in Somerset and supplying shops and galleries throughout the world.
In 1997 Bernard returned to enamelling and now produces a wide range of enamelled items, using designs influenced by the landscape and space photography.
He works in silver and gold using the traditional technique of cloisonne and champleve to enhance the depth and rich colours of the transparent enamels.
